Nah vovan1's right, China is very superficial. Not only that but they also have a culture of half assing things, which is a product of the ccp regime. They literally have tofu houses, houses that are made to look nice but are of super poor quality and deteriorate quickly. Not surprised if they mass produce a variety of poor quality to mediocre animes, they have the means. Which sucks because it buries out the truly talented. And it sucks even worse that the way China is rn doesn't allow creativity to flourish, hence so many copycat stuff exists there.

haven't watched both the shows but sounds painful..if you want some wholesome bat family story you can try reading Batman: Wayne Family Adventures webtoon..it's really good and focus more on their family dynamics..just like buddy daddies!!

Seldom that a family of assassins retain their humanity in media. There was one, Anime with a dude titled as the greatest hitman of all time. Died and got a 2nd chance at life as an assassin through lineage, the family practiced medicine as well which acted as the perfect ground to that line of work.
